A great Australian summer pastime. 

Backyard cricket can be played by everyone and anywhere.

Each generation has their own rules but here are the ones tried and tested.

Rules

  • Played between two teams of equal sides.
  • One handed catch off rebound is out.
  • Automatic wicket keeper and slips
  • No leg before wicket
  • Six and out over the fence or pool
  • Break window or plant and you’re out.
  • One hand one bounce
  • When a batsman reaches a predetermined score, they retire.
  • If a pet catches the ball, you are out.
